Objective:To investigate the relationship between serum free fatty acids and c ystatin C in Xinjiang Uygur type 2 diabetic patients with different predictive glome rular filtration rate.Methods:A retrospective analysis of the records of 863 patients with T2DM hospitalized in January 2014-2016 year in October in the First Affiliat ed Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University,eGFR estimated by MERD formula,acc ording to the level of eGFR were divided into A group(eGFR?90ml/min/1.73m-2)and B group(60ml/min/1.73m-2<eGFR<90ml/min/1.73m-2),group C(eGFR<60ml/min/1.73m-2).And 131 physical fitness index matched non-diabetic patients in the physic al examination center of Xinjiang Medical University were selected as the control group,and the relationship between FFA and Cys-c,e GFR,blood lipids was analyzed.Results:the levels of FFA and Cys-c in C group were significantly higher than tho se in A group?B group and control group.The levels of FFA and Cys-c in B gro up were significantly higher than those in A group and control group?P<0.05?.Mul tiple linear regression analysis showed that age,duration of disease,waist circumferen ce,BMI,Cr,SUA,TG,TC,LDL-c,FFA,HbAlc%,and history of hypertension were inde pendent influencing factors of eGFR decline in T2DM patients.In the high FFA gro up,the number of Cys-C,the number of patients with moderate and severe renal fun ction deterioration and the number of renal dysfunction were significantly higher th an those of the middle FFA group and the low FFA group?P<0.05?.Conclusion:FF A is closely related to the level of Cys-c,which may play an important role in the development of T2DM,especially in the decline of renal function,which may be re lated to the mechanism of FFA induced action.
