Objective:?1?The aim of this study to detect the expressions of prolyl hydroxylase domain?PHDs?and von-Hippel-Lindau tumor suppressor protein?pVHL?in the synovial tissues of patients with rheumatoid arthritis?RA?and osteoarthritis?OA?.?2?To investigate the relationship among PHD1,PHD2,PHD3,pVHL and clinical data in patients with RA and OA.Methods:A total of 11 patients with RA and 20 patients with OA were recruited for this study. The expressions of PHD1,PHD2,PHD3 and pVHL in the synovial tissues were detected by immunohistochemical EnVision two-step method. The differences between two groups and multiple clinical indexes were statistically analyzed by SPSS21.0 statistical software.Results:?1?All of the PHD1,PHD2,PHD3 and pVHL were positive in two groups.?2?PHD1 was significantly lower in RA than OA?P<0.01?.The expression of PHD2in RA were significantly higher than those in synovial tissues of OA?P<0.05?.?3?The analysis of Spearman rank correlation showed that PHD2 and PHD3(rs=-0.875,P<0.01),PHD1 and RDW-SD?rs=-0.374,P<0.05?,PHD2 and HGB?rs=-0.457,P<0.01?,PHD3 and RDW-SD?rs=-0.363,P<0.05?were negative correlation respectively, while there were positive correlation between PHD2 and EO?rs=0.363,P<0.05?,PHD2 and hemoglobin?rs=0.405,P<0.05?,respectively.?4?RF?Rheumatoid factor?,CRP?C-reactive protein?,SAA?serum amyloid A?,GLB?globulin?were significantly higher in serum of RA patients than in those of the OA?P<0.05?.Conclusions:The changes of PHD1 and PHD2 in synovial tissues of RA patients might be involved in the pathogenesis of this disease.
