The Research Of European Desert Island Novel

As an important genre of desert island literature,the desert island novel plays an important role in the history of world literature.For hundreds of years,there have been many important writers and works in Europe.Many works have been adapted into films,which have a wide range of influence in the world,with hundreds of millions of viewers and readers.This thesis focuses on the study of European Island novel theory and method were used to study the text,theme and narrative.This thesis consists of six parts.The introduction part summarizes the achievements and influence of the European desert island novel creation,the current situation of domestic and foreign research,the research theory and methods used in this paper,and the theoretical and practical significance of this thesis.The first chapter explores the origin and the three development stages of the European desert island novels,from the three stages of improvisation stage,development stage and mature stage were analyzed,and summed up the three stages of pay attention to the realistic,advocating science and technology and reflection ofhuman nature.The second chapter uses the method of close reading and topic study of the four types of European desert island fiction theme the desert island survival subject,human nature,ecological theme and the colonial theme makes a deep interpretation.The survival theme from the plight and the struggle for survival of two party to carry on the analysis,praised the human spirit of unremitting self-improvement.The theme of human nature criticizes the evil of human nature,and calls for the kindness of human nature.Ecological theme from the imbalance between man and nature that man can conquer nature and human and natural harmony the harmony between the heaven and one or two aspects to explore changes in the human mind.Colonial theme from occupied the land of a desert island and uglification mixed image two aspects to study.Finally,a brief description of the other topics are carried out.The third chapter using close reading and inductive method,will be Europe's desert island fiction character divided into two kinds,adults and children,the first type is composed of venture pioneer,the invention of creative character and fierce wild type and so on.The second type is the resourceful,rebel leaders,wisdow inside collect characters image.Through the method of two types of listed characters were described briefly.In chapter four,through the use of narrative,close reading,tabular method,from the plot structure,narrative perspective,narrative time and space construction of four aspects of Europe of desert island novels narrative analysis.Europe of desert island novels mostly with common narrative patterns,such as in the plotand structure as follows: distress--living on a desert island--returning,hero island experiences tend to occupy the novel most of the space.There are often some opposite story elements and plots in the novel.This paper from the first person review narration and the third person omniscient narrative the analysis the Europe of desert island novels narrative point of view.Narrative time is from the story of the novel text,words time and temporal aspects to study.The space construction of the European desert island fiction from the two aspects of the Utopian space and the anti Utopian space in detail.The conclusion part points out in the 21 st century today,desert island fiction works continue to emerge,and showing a new feature,I believe that in the near future,heterotopia types of desert island novels will become hot research object.
