Line, color, design are art category elements of the basic languages,they play an important roles in form of print language. Whether to use what kind of language form, they are in the service of our content of painting creation.As a result of the limitation of the tool materials, creators need ongoing sorting and summary and compression of colors and lines in the process of printmaking,with them to create a rich picture. This paper use the lines, colors, pattern tendency as the breakthrough point, with the next three aspects to interpret the source of creation, content, significance. Content based on the common things in life, such as the dynamic of people in the life and the surrounding trees, flowers, animals, etc. The theme of prints from this period of life experience and the feeling of life. This paper tries to draw the ways of expression of master's and nutrients, to make up my lack of things in painting creation. At the same time through we are discussing the lines, colors and the trend of patterning,they are created images of quiet and harmonious atmosphere to provide theoretical guidance for graduation work.Thesis mainly from three aspects to elaborate in my graduation work:firstly, lines, colors, the trend of patterns tendency using in the successful example. secondly, the application of lines, colors, the trend of patterning analysis, use and research; Thirdly, the meaning that the use of lines, colors,the trend of patterning in my woodblock prints.Thesis mainly use the experimental method, literature research,interdisciplinary course and experience summary method, etc.
