The development process of reform and opening up over more than 30 years,along with the current height of industrialization and market-oriented development and the deepening of China’s economic development and social transformation,people seemed to be involved in a market-driven materialistic society. This in a way beneficial to make people to pay more focused on reality, and close to reality, however,people trapped substance "quagmire" in conscious and unconscious and unable to extricate themselves, the "money worship" in the reality of social life, "extreme egoism", "value concept of disorder", and people "weakening moral cognition", "moral feelings of apathy", " moral wills of the lost" and so on. This actually is the foundation and spiritual power of the current transformation of moral – moral awe missing of specific performance. Therefore, the proposed study of contemporary Chinese moral fear, will contribute not only a theoretical basis for the current exploration and development of the entire Ethics under the background, and will guide people to their own way of life for serious, serious moral criticism and reflection, to rediscover the meaning and value of life, to meet the immediate demands of the people’s spirit of social practice.Study on contemporary moral awe of China, its main structure is: First, an overview of the theoretical and ideological origins clarify moral awe; secondly, the actual analysis of the current moral fear of missing the real natural; then discuss the possibility and necessity of human moral fear; Finally, explore the moment of moral inquiry ought awe. Based on this, the article is divided into the following three sections:The first part is mainly made to define the moral veneration, the fear of further analysis of moral sanctity, sublime, permeability, beyond the features, as well as the role of ethics and moral fear itself, individual life and social development. And the sources pointed out that the fear of the moral source of ideas, involving Confucianism,Buddhism and Taoism of the moral tradition of reverence thought, from ancient Greece to modern Western philosophy of moral culture of fear thinking on moral awe.The second part analyzes the status quo of contemporary Chinese moral fear ofmissing, lost, ethical behavior anomie weakening moral cognition, moral emotion of apathy, moral will of the contemporary Chinese moral fear of missing the main form;investigate its reasons, which not only have their own moral reasons, more economic,political, cultural, social and other reasons; contemporary Chinese moral fear not only the lack of a serious impact on individuals and society, but also not conducive to the development of the country.The third part, in the above analysis based on the proposed construction of the contemporary Chinese moral awe, followed by the establishment of the contemporary Chinese moral fear of subject, object and practice, and finally from the individual,social, national three levels discuss concrete ways to build on the contemporary Chinese moral awe.
