The Relations Of Huai Nan Area Military And Defense In The Early Stage Of Southern Sung Dynasty(1127-1164)

The Huai Nan area was the military confrontation between Sung and Jin Dynasty in the early stage of southern Sung Dynasty(1127-1164),how to defend the territory decide the life and death.Thus,the Southern Sung court paid more attention to the defense of Huai Nan area,and commanded a large number of armymen to safeguard it,which test the garrison in military supplies.Quartermaster mainly includes two aspects:rations,military.Huai Nan's military supplies had an important influence on the progress of military action of Sung Dynasty.This article will revealed the connection between the military supply and the defense of Huai Nan area in the early stage of the southern Sung Dynasty(1127-1164)from three stages.First of all,I will analysis the connection between the military supply and the defence of Huai Nan area from 1127 to 1141.Huai Nan area,which suffered the war,rebuilt a series of military supply system.The grain for the army mainly relied on the income of TunTian and YingTian,on the other hand,the war fund relied on the income of salt monopoly,system of wine sale,commerce,the total money,monthly pile money.Owing to the economy of Huai Nan area didn't recover from the shadow of war,the military supply was in a state of tension from 1127 to 1141.The short military supply,which severely restricted the military action,led to the failure of Sung Dynasty.Secondly,I will analysis the connection between the military supply and the defence of Huai Nan area from 1141 to 1154.Based on the previous stage,the Huai Nan area's military system has been transformed again.The zonglingsuo of Huai Dong and Huai Xi had played a fundamental role in the supply of rations as well as the TunTian and YingTian from 1141 to 1154.The military expenditure source had become more diversified due to the income of zonglingsuo of Huai Dong and Huai Xi Huai salt monopoly,Legal Trade,which expanded the sources of military.Huai Nan's economy had gradually improved after a period of recovery,which led to the quartermaster supply was sufficient.Adequate military to military operations has brought positive changes,the soldiers began to reverse the decline of the military and made a series of victories.Finally,the military supply and the defence of Huai Nan area was completed from 1154 to 1164.The earning of TunTian,YingTian played an important role in the military supply,as well as the Huai East and West zonglingsuo.The income of Huai salt increased monopoly and the income of new tea Dudie also played an important role.The military supply was adequate at this stage.On the one hand,the Sung's military action was no longer restricted by the military supply,and they could take action proactively.On the other hand,the Sung's military strategy and deployment errors led to Sung's military action didn't reach the expected goals,however,that wasn't the effect of the military supply.In the Northern Sung HuaiNan area from a "agribusiness export economic zone"transition to a "military entered the financial district",from output money and grain outward to depend on southeast region's money and grain input.The transition of HuaiNan area development model had a lasting impactf to future regional social,political,industrial and economic,religious culture.
