Attention is one of the hot areas of neuroscience research. The attention function of different sensory pathw ays is closely linked w ith the information processing of others sensory pathw ays, it means, the attention is probably not an independent psychological mechanism, it is combined w ith the different sensory information processing, it needs to be studied by the relevant experimentation research. At present the main research system for visual attention is E-Prime in the laboratory, but it cannot provide the stimulating objects w hich have complex movement, it only can display some static stimulating objects, so it is necessary to develop an independent system to solve this issue.This text is for the necessary requirement of the laboratory, through the DirectX technology and Electrophysiological measure of selective stimulus processing SSVEP(the steady-state visual evoked potential) method to design and develop an experiment system that for the investigation of the relationship betw een the spatial attention and feature-based attention. During the development process, I used the DirectX technology w hich can highly and efficiently use the display card memory and the media timer which can response in milliseconds to achieve the steady fresh frequency of the stimulating objects. Use the arithmetic that w as designed by myself to implement the stimulating objects distribute and move randomly in the range of concentric circle and move directionally, and communicate w ith the existing EEG(electroencephalograph) system via parallel port to record the operation of the user.According to the test result, the system can solve the issue of the refresh frequency of the stimulating objects, it can flick steady as 10 Hz and 15 Hz, and the system meets the requirement of the experimental design. After analyze the data of experiment, the enhance amplitude cannot be found w hen the stimulating objects do the oriented movement. So it means the featured-based attention relies on the spatial attention, it cannot exist independently. Through this text, for the development of the system that based on the DirectX technology and implement the complex movement of the stimulating objects and communicate w ith the exist ing EEG system, the issue of the existing experimental system w as solved and it also provide a new approach for the future system.
