The Empirical Report On Russian Interpretation Of Snake Popular Science Exhibition Museum In Beidaihe

This thesis is an empirical report on Russian interpretation of Snake Popular Science Exhibition Museum in Beidaihe which is based on the Russian interpreting practice. The content and process of this interpreting task as well as analysis and conclusions of difficulties during the practice are elaborately described in this thesis, which is expected to guide further study and work.This thesis consists of four chapters.Chapter one Description of Interpreting Task briefly introduces the contents of the task and requirements of the client. Chapter two Pre-interpreting Preparations is composed of four parts: background preparation, theme preparation,making translation strategles and mental preparation before translation. In Chapter three Case Analysis, problems during interpreting are systematically analyzed and corresponding solutions are provided. The influences of background information such as the interpreting, vocabulary deficiency which is leading to poor translation and errors as well as omissions in the interpreting are three major aspects. Chapter four brings the thesis into a conclusion. It summarizes some problems existing in the author's own in the process of Russian interpretation practice and points out the aspects that can be paid due attention and improved later. This thesis is expected to be useful in the guidance of Russian interpreters' work.
