A Brief Analysis On The Application And Experience Of The Creation Of Landscape Painting

The Six Laws which were proposed by Xiehe in the Southern Qi Dynasty,had included “bony brushstrokes”, the pursuit of the usage of pen is always the inherent law of Chinese painting, especially landscape painting, from the concept “ calligraphy and Painting as one” which was proposed by Zhang Yanyuan in Tang Dynasty to the explanation of the “pen and ink” by Jinhao in Brushwork in the Five Dynastie, the usage of pen has a long history and countless discussions.during the three years of graduate study, I always centered on the training and thingking of the usage of pen, easpcially always put Huang Binghong's Five pen theory in my heart. The understanding and thinking on Five Pen Theory makes me gradually know more about the usage of pen in landscape painting, leading me to think about the inherent spirit of Chinese painting.
