In this paper,we take the college student as subjects to probe the effect on the output of creative thinking in the Chinese context. Two experiments are associated with competition, different forms and categories of cooperation. The dependent variables of the experiments are measured by fluency, flexibility, originality and persistence.90 college students are chosen to participant in Experiments 1 which discussed the effects on creative thinking of cooperation consciousness, competition and practical cooperation-brainstorming.To explore the creative thinking of those three kinds of conditions, and the differences between the gender and their respective characteristics.120 college students are chosen to participant in Experiments 2 which further explore the effects on creative thinking of two different forms of group cooperation. The first form of group cooperation is based on the classic forms of cooperation, namely“brainstorming with pen and paper”.The second form of group cooperation created by author, namely “memorial writing and observe”,referred to as “35”,to probe the effects on creative thinking of forms of cooperation(brainstorming with pen and paper/memorial writing and observe),categories of cooperation(internal cooperation/internal cooperation and inter-group competition) and gender(male/female).The results are showed as follows:1.The interaction effects of three different creative thinking activities and gender are significant,in the competition group, the products of creative thinking produced by male are much more than that of female in fluency,flexibility.2.The interaction effects of various forms of cooperation and categories are significant,in the memorial writing and observe group, the products of creative thinking produced by subjects of internal cooperation and inter-group competition are much more than that of subjects of internal cooperation in fluency, originality and persistence.3.The interaction effects of categories and gender are significant, the products of creative thinking produced by male in group of internal cooperation and inter-groupcompetition are much better than group of internal cooperation in fluency, originality and persistence.4. The products of creative thinking produced by female in group of cooperation consciousness are much better than female in group of competition and brainstorming in flexibility.5.“memorial writing and observe” is a better form than brainstorming in group cooperation.6.The“male warrior hypothesis”is established in group cooperation.
