| Group creativity is the creation of valuable,useful and innovative products,ideas,procedures and processes by individuals working together in a complex social system.Most of the previous researches on group creativity focus on the influencing factors.This study takes 8?10 year old children as subjects,through two experiments,on the basis of exploring the characteristics and influencing factors of group creativity development,further explores the cultivation of children's group creativity.Firstly,the first experiment examined the development trend of group creativity of children aged 8 to 10 from three dimensions of group creativity fluency,flexibility and novelty,and the correlation between group creativity,individual creativity and cooperative behavior indicators at different ages.The results showed that the group fluency and novelty of children aged 8?10 years showed a peak at age 9,while group flexibility showed a gradual upward trend.There was significant correlation between group creativity level and cooperative behavior index of children at different age stages.Secondly,the second experiment is based on the study of the first experiment,with 9-year-old children as the subjects,through the experimental intervention to investigate the cultivation of group creativity.The results showed that the scores of individual fluency and group fluency were significantly increased after OTT thinking training.Finally,the research shows that the age of 9 is a critical period for the development of children's group creativity.During this period,group fluency and group novelty develop in an “inverted U”shape,while group flexibility increases with age.Individual creativity and group cooperation and interaction are the important influencing factors of group creativity.The group fluency level of children can be cultivated through OTT thinking training.This study provides a powerful experimental basis for exploring the developmental characteristics and plasticity of children's group creativity. |
