On Watercolor Art Of Zong Qixiang

This paper will conduct a thorough study and analysis of Zong Qixiang's watercolor art by using the method of case study through the following parts: the first part will give a general introduction of Zong Qixiang's family background and the course of his pursuing and studying of watercolor; the second part will introduce Zong's watercolor career began from Zong's indissoluble bound with watercolor; part three will analyze and discuss the style of Zong Qixiang's watercolor art and the fourth part will illustrate the influence and inspiration of Zong's watercolor on the creation of Chinese watercolor.This paper will be based on literature review, chronological style and quotes to collect thesis statements, and combine the forms of graphs and literary compositions to study Zong Qixiang's watercolor art deeply, thoroughly and stereoscopicly, thus to conclude the style of Zong Qixiang' watercolor art as well as his personal quality in order to provide thorough resources for following studies.
