Set shifting as an important component of cognitive flexibility, and also as an important aspect of executive function, which can better reflect the individual's cognitive flexibility and the ability to adapt to the environment. Set shifting is the continuous conversion between tasks or operations, help individuals adapt better to the environment, and also has an impact on the individual's cognitive development. The research of emotion and cognition related to various aspects of cognitive processing. Emotional can be adjusted the neural mechanism of cognitive control, and the emotion on cognition effects are often under the influenced of task type and cognitive style. On the basis of previous studies, combined the classic Stroop conflict paradigm and the task sequence paradigm to explore the EEG characteristics and behavioral characteristics of different valence emotions on task switching under the event related potential technology. The experiment design using 2(emotional type: positive, negative) x 2(task difficulty: simple task(meaning judgment) and complex task(color judgment) x2(task sequence: repetition, conversion) on 21 subjects surveying, with consistent stimulation lead to conflict(inconsistent),and based on 21 subjects reaction time and correct rates and EEG characteristics(N1, N2, SP) to explore different emotional states influence on different task types and task switching. The following conclusions are drawn from this study:First, the different tasks of the reaction time is significant, simple task(to determine the meaning of the word) reaction time is less than the complex task(to determine the font color);Second, emotions have different effects on task difficulty under the set shifting on simple tasks, the emotional impact of task reaction time; in the difficult task, however, emotion has no interfere with the task;Thirdly, conflict conditions(inconsistency), under the influence of positive emotions, repeated tasks reaction were higher than the conversion task; negative emotions, repeated tasks reaction were less than the conversion task;Fourth, the emotional impact of set-shifting, repetitive tasks when under emotional state is less than the reaction of conversion task;Fifth, under the influence of negative emotions, repeating simple tasks(to determine the meaning of words) than to repeat complex task(to determine the color) elicited larger N1 peak; Sixth, in the set shifting experiment, conversion tasks elicited SP larger than repetitive tasks;Seventh: the N2 latency of simple task under the positive emotion is longer than negative emotion, which indicates that the positive emotion extending the reaction time of simple task;Eighth, the two task reactions under the conflict condition(inconsistency) were higher than the reaction under the same condition.
