| The research of emotion and working memory has been the focus of psychology research. The previous research mainly focused on the influence of negative emotion on working memory. This study, from the positive emotion, introduces the relationship between the positive emotion and working memory, and discusses the influence of emotion on spatial working memory. In this study, college students as subjects, using emotional pictures as a stimulus material, the use of delayed sample matching task for the experiment. Experiment is a 2(type of emotion: positive emotion and neutral emotion)x 2( task load: low load and high load) within subjects design, the effects of emotion types on spatial working memory. The second experiment used 2(motivation intensity: low approach motivated. High approach motivated) x 2(task load: low load and high load) of the within subjects experimental design. The effects of the dimensions of emotional motivation influence on spatial working memory.The results of the study show that positive emotions on spatial working memory has hindered, the specific performance is in positive emotional state of subjects was longer than in neutral emotional condition of reaction, the correct rate is less than the accuracy of neutral emotional condition. The dimensions of emotional motivation on spatial working memory are hindered, the specific performance in high approach under the condition of positive emotion motivation reaction when longer than low approach motivation under conditions of reaction, the correct rate lower than low approach motivation under conditions of correct rate. In short, the positive emotion has effects on spatial working memory, inhibition of positive emotions mainly by the emotional dimensions of motivation play a role.More research supports Gable and emotional motivation Harmon-Jones dimension theory, to a certain extent, enrich and develop the emotional impact of the research results of working memory. |
