| If mention the genre film, people will naturally think many famous genre films of the classic Hollywood period,westerns, romance, musicals and so on. Genre film, as a classic pattern of the Hollywood, especially the classic Hollywood,wins the earnest attention of scholars both at home and abroad. However,after the 1960s, the United States Hollywood classic genre film started down the path of change, the old and new Hollywood began to change.In China, in the late 1970s to the early 80s, China appeared a lot of sensational genre film:comedy,chindren film, anti-spy film, these films presented a moment of viewing.But unexpected is that in the late 80s, the traditional genre films gradually disappeared. For the disappearance of the genre film, most scholars attributed the reason to the fifth generation of directors'revolution against genre film,the scholars thought the fifth's pursuit of personality lead the genre film leaving from the tradition. The evolution of genre film had many other reasons, the defects of the selection of genre film itself,the change of film living environment, the change of film market demand, the film audience's change, partly due to the progress and development of film technology emerged in academia, opinions vary. This article mainly probes into the reasons of evolution of Chinese genre film, and points out that the TV generation, development and diffusion prompted Chinese genre film change, emphasis on TV the medium factors is the fundamental cause of the evolution of film occurred, essentially explains the evolution of Chinese genre film.This article is divided into five parts, the first part is the introduction, this part briefly introduces the structure of this articler, general research situation at home and abroad and research characteristics; the second part as a whole matting introduces what is the genre film, not only limited research scope but also made clear the research object.In the same time this part also introduces the thriving and the decline of Chinese genre film in the 1970 s and early 1980s, to do the analysis from the defects of the selection of genre film itself,the change of film living environment, the change of film market demand, the film audience's change,the fifth generation of directors'revolution against genre film,the Chinese film audience, technical progress and development and so on. Third part and fourth part constitute the core of this article,the third part focuses on the origin and development of television and TV play, and also introduces the impact to the film, and stresses the genre TV play's influence on the genre films, the fourth part starts from the television medium characteristics itself, through the subject choice, the television show with the audience in the daily life, TV play and the using and satisfying of audience, film and television creators, etc, to give a comprehensive analysis of multiple perspectives, which summarizes that the emergence and development of the TV series is the root cause of the evolution of Chinese genre film. At the same time, this part analyses the the content and form from the change of media environment. Finally,to prove the argument"media environment is a very important factor in the development of media"; In the fifth part combining with the first four parts,it looks forward to genre film and TV series in future development,and points out that the Combination of film and television is the trend of the times. |
