The Use Of Balthus Abstract Elements In The Painting

In the 20 th century painting,fauvism, cubism, Dadaism and painting have emerged, but Balthus maintenance tradition, he still toward this direction to move on.Balthus another big characteristic is to use the works of the representational image to represent work behind the abstract spirit,Balthus for the use of abstract elements makes his paintings go beyond the traditional sense of the representational painting.In this article, through analyzing Balthus works, mainly from the theme, geometric form,color and space background these four aspects to the abstract elements of Balthus paintings are discussed.
