Research On The Inheritance Of Huayao Folk Song "Living State" In Wuling Mountain Area,Longhui County

Huayao folk song is Chinese endangered music culture.The first domestic research about Huayao folk song which began in 1995 is<A preliminary study of Meishan God> written by Ma Teiying teacher, a famous folklore expert. For more than 20 years, the majority of researches on HuaYao music have merely stayed in the introductory descriptions about Huayao people’s traditional culture as well as local customs and the preliminary studys of the related music form and characteristic of folk song, marriage customs and etc.But the research on heritage of "living state" has been temporarily ignored.For thousands of years, "Huayao" music culture has always run throughout people’s life and labor.It faithfully carries the history and culture of the Huayao people.Hayao folk songs possess a unique musical language and art form.There is no written language in Huayao. Huayao,with high historical and artistic value,has various categories and genres of folk songs, which makes itself representative and typical among many ethnic minorities in Wuling mountain area.In order to study the Huayao music culture,the author has done a large number of fieldwork in Tiger mountain autonomous country of yao nationality and Huayao’s branches of villages in DaShuiTian Township and XiaoShaJiang town in Longhui county Hunan province,such as village population,the number of folk song inheritors, the content of folk songs, the important cultural carriers(festivals, anniversaries), Huayao compatriots’psychological change on folk songs, the current situation about the inheritance of folk songs in local primary and secondary schools and higher education institutions and the measures of inheritance made by relevant government departments, During this deeply investigation,the author has explored and collected a large amount of raw materials, and carried out an in-depth research on music form and cultural value.In this paper, the writing order is as follows:the status and problems, materials obtain, cultural ecological environment, countermeasures to protect "living state" heritage of Huayao music culture,which highlights that Huayao music culture made corresponding adjustment to adapt to the changes of cultural ecology when faced with different environment (natural environment and social environment).In the heritage protection of" living state "culture, the key point is to to achieve the coupling operation of Huayao music culture and cultural ecology in the process of preservation and innovation. In this study, Huayao folk song is regarded as the crucial research object.There are elaborate analyses on the current "living state" heritage status of folk song, music characteristic, content, lyrics and value,the meaning and value of "living state" heritage, the role that both Huayao people and its music carriers(marriage custom) play in Huayao music culture.The author has conducted questionnaire survey and made analysis on current "living state" heritage status,putting forward the corresponding measures of inheritance.
