Exclusive scope adverbs are a very important part of speech in Chinese, and foreign students make biased errors in the process of acquisition easily. Taking the exclusive scope adverbs as objects of study and basing on Beijing language and culture university HSK dynamic composition corpus, The essay analyses the nine exclusive scope adverbs systematically, and propounds suggestions in teaching.The essay is divided into six chapters, the major contents of every chapter as follows:The first chapter summarizes the ontology research and the foreign Chinese teaching of exclusive scope adverbs written by previous scholars, and determines the nine exclusive scope adverbs in the bases of the National Syllabus of Graded Words and Characters for Chinese Proficiency. In addition, the essay also introduces the causes of the selection, the merit of the research, the ideas of research, and the source corpus.The second chapter introduces the bias types from the directions of the grammar,the semantic, and the pragmatic systematically, which is based on the bias in the corpus.The third chapter introduces the syntactic functions of the nine exclusive scope adverbs. The essay systematically describes the linguistic phenomenon when the adverbs putting in front of the substantive components and the predicate components,which is aimed at the problem that foreign students can not understand the knowledge of the Chinese very well.The fourth chapter analyzes the grammatical setting in the teaching materials of teaching Chinese as a foreign language, the major contents include the grammatical setting, the grammatical explanation, and the exercise design, which is based on the disadvantages of the teaching materials.The fifth chapter propounds the suggestion in teaching from the increasing of the description in grammar, the comparison of synonyms, and the design of exercises.The sixth chapter makes summary for the main work, the innovation, and the deficiencies in the essay.
