The teenagers' mental health problems have been paid attention to by people.Many domestic and foreign researches show that psychological abuse in the childhood influences individual's healthy mental,cognitive,social,and behavioral development,so it caused negative effects and had a wide range of influence.Even more and more studies concern individual mental abuse,for some unknown reasons,few studies focused on adolescents.On the other hand,self-awareness is a popular topic in psychology studies.However,adolescents' self-awareness studies are bare.In this paper,the effects of mental abuse on adolescents' self-evaluation and self-cognition in childhood will be discussed.It will provide theoretical basis for the self-development of adolescent who was mental abused in childhood,and find a new study roda for the mental health education of young people.This study selected 480 junior high school students who come from three middle schools in a city and used questionnaires and experimental methods combined to study childhood mental abuse impact on self-cognition of middle school students.First,this study used questionnaire method to measure the situation of junior high school students'psychological abuse,self-cognition,self-evaluation,and to reveal the characteristics of self-cognition and self-evaluation of students who affected by psychological abuse in childhood.Secondly,this study selected in the questionnaire showed mental abuse positive of middle school students 20(experimental group)and mental abuse negative of middle school students 20(control group),using a within subjects experimental design,to explore the psychological maltreatment positive middle school students of cognitive bias.The result of this research presents:(1)Childhood psychological abuse has significant negative correlation with junior high school students' self-cognition or self-evaluation.(2)Junior middle school students overall show positive self-cognition and self-evaluation,and there is no gender differences.In self-cognition and self-evaluation,the students who was mentally abused in childhood are more negative than the other students.(3)The junior high school students who influenced by psychological abuse had cognitive bias.Expert results showed that psychological abuse positive subjects exhibited attention bias to negative emotion words and memory bias to negative self-evaluation word.Psychological abuse negative subjects exhibited no significant attentional bias to negative emotional vocabulary,but had memory bias to positive self-evalution word.
