Resilience means the ability of individuals to response to negative events and pressures effectively, adapt to environment rapidly and keep psychologically healthy. It has been proved that resilience and mental health are closely related. The fast development of modern society bring more pressures and difficulties to college students, which make them more negative emotions, affect cognitive processing and environment adaption. Nowadays, domestic empirical research of college students’ resilience and cognitive bias is not so much. But understanding psychological and cognitive characteristics of college students and exploring the role of resilience mechanism in cognitive processing are important to promote the development of mental health. Therefor, this research uses Resilient Trait Scale for Chinese Adult to analysis the resilience of college student, then screens 70 subjects to take probe detection task and recognition memory test of emotional pictures.comparing differences of attentional bias and memory bias on emotional face pictures of different resilience of college students, and analyzing the relations between resilience and cognitive bias. The main conclusions of the study are as follows:(1) When emotional faces are presented simultaneously with positive, negative emotional faces and neutral emotional faces, there is an significant difference in attentional bias between high resilience group and low resilience group. There is no significantly difference on positive emotional faces of high resilience group and low resilience group, and the attentional bias score of low resilience group is significantly higher than that of high resilience group on the negative emotional faces. High resilience group doesn’t show attentional bias on the positive and negative emotional faces, but low resilience group show attentional bias on negative emotional faces.(2) When emotional faces are presented simultaneously with positive emotional faces and negative emotional faces, There is no significantly difference of high resilience group when detecting points are effective or they are invalid; the reaction time of low resilience group when detecting points are invalid is significantly shorter than that when they are effective. It indicates that low resilience group show attentional bias on negative emotional faces, the reaction time when detecting points are invalid is more shorter.(3) With correct recognition rate of three kinds of emotional faces, there is an significant difference between two different resilience groups. High resilience groupshows memory bias on positive emotional faces, and the correct recognization rate of positive emotional faces is more higher;Low resilience group shows memory bias on negative emotional faces, and the correct recognization rate of negative emotional faces is more higher.
