Shintoism is a classic religion which developed itself under a enclosed country. Insularity created a profound interaction between Shintoism and Japanese. The concept of life and death of the Japanese under the influence of Shintoism is an integrated research tolerates no differentiation.The concept of life and death of the Japanese under the influence of Shintoism is unique, they learn the happiness of life from the respect to death. Unlike the metempsychosis theory of Buddhism and the concept of Haven&Hell of Christianity, the bound between life and death of Shintoism is obscure. The concept of soul in Shintoism is simple. Shintoism gives no definition of good and evil or the terminal point about the souls. Bushido comes from the influence of Shintoism and it's the most important element of the concept of life and death of Japanese.Nowadays, the foreign culture shock, especially the liberalism of western countries is changing the traditional thoughts of Japanese and makes it a far more interesting research.
