Xiao Qian is a versatile writer in the history of modern literature of China. He possess a legendary life, he not only a representative writer of Beijing school, but also a war correspondents who comes from China on the European battlefield during world war II. For Xiao Qian's literary creation, in 1935 for the sector, divided into the former and later period.The work of his former period was poesy of trickling and expression of emotion was implicit, the underclass in his work has heavy perfume of country flavor. Yet ideological connotation comes from the latter part of his religious novels and correspondent features beyond Beijing school and have realistic militancy. That is to say, Xiao Qian's literature has experienced a process of convergence and alienation with Beijing faction.For clarify the deep reasons of Xiao Qian's creation route and change. This article choose the on-off relationship between Xiao Qian and Beijing School as the starting point for better grasp Xiao Qian's creative personality and literary achievements and its position in the history of literature. The whole essay is divided into three chapters. First chapter discuss feature of works which wrote by Xiao Qian in the Beijing-school. This show the pursuit of human nature: beauty and goodness and truth. The main way of close reading to combing the three levels of works: the child's world, underclass, artistic style, and to reveal unique charm of "under the fence". The second chapter through close reading and historical reduction to research his religious novels and reportage that concerns the country's future, the fate of the nation, that revealed deep patriotic feelings of Xiao Qian, and that the historical responsibility of the generation of intellectuals on the occasion of national crisis. The third chapter discusses the reasons that Xiao Qian into and out of Beijing-School, the reasons mainly analyzes the background, childhood experiences and other factors influence on the writer.
