Huayuan county is located in the territory of Xiangxi, there is the "hometown of Chinese art", the title of the intangible cultural heritage resources are very rich.Huayuan County Miao dance show people's love and longing for a better life, the real reflection of the local cultural customs. Due to the limitation of natural geographical environment and the rapid development of modern economy, the survival of the traditional folk dance in Huayuan county has encountered a great challenge. The intangible cultural heritage protection as the breakthrough point, using literature research, field trips, expert interviews and other forms of introducing and analyzing the Huayuan County Miao dance.
