Prospective memory is the cognitive function required for formulating plans and promises, for retaining them, and for recollecting them subsequently either at the right time or upon the occurrence of appropriate cues. We succeed do many activities thanks to our prospective memory. Because the content of the prospective memory may change as time goes by, so we will make mistakes, in other words, false memory occurs. False memory is the divergence between people's own reports of past events and the phenomenon of facts. We choose the college students as participants. In experiment 1, we want to study the modality effect of false memory in prospective memory. In experiment 2 and 3, we main to study the eye movement of false memory in prospective memory during the testing and study periods, whether warming and is offered or not, and whether memory load is more or less. The main results are as follows:1. The false memory in prospective memory has modality effect, and visual processing in testing phase can increase the accuracy of college students' judgment and reduce the reaction time.2. There is an interaction between the channels people use during learning and testing phase in prospective memory. And the same processing channel between learning and testing phase can improve the accuracy of college students' judgment.3. In prospective memory false memories, whether it is the correct rate of items judgment or reaction time, there is an interaction between processing channels in testing phase and item types.4. In false memories of prospective memory, whether it is the correct rate or reaction time of items judgment, there is an interaction among learning processing channels, testing processing channels, and item types.5. In testing phase of false memory in prospective memory, warming, the memory load and items types have no effect on college students' first fixation time.6. In testing phase of false memory in prospective memory, the more cognitive load will increase the college students' total fixation time and fixation times.7. In testing phase of false memory in prospective memory, the warming will increase the college students' first fixation time upon key lure words.8. In learning phase of false memory in prospective memory, the more cognitive load will increase the college students' first and total fixation time upon words.
