The thesis synthesizes the moderate life theories and practices of Theravada Buddhism to study the spiritual ecology problems of human being. The text contains two parts: the first part(Chapter One) analyzes and studies the spiritual ecology problems by discussing the basic life theories in Buddhism. And it points out: ignorance is the root of the imbalance of spiritual ecology; the balanced life can promote the harmony of spiritual ecology; Deep Ecology is a new development of Buddhism. The second part(Chapter Two and Three) expounds the spirit of moderate aesthetic life in Buddhism, and it puts forward two strategies for the problems to be solved: one is tasting the aesthetic culture about Theravada Buddhism's spiritual ecology; the other is drawing lessons from the spiritual practices of Buddhist, which is for the harmony of body and mind. And it points out: the life that Buddhism initiates is unified truth, good and beauty; the noble eight-fold path is the principle of human beings' behavior, who devote themselves to the perfect life cultivation; the cultivation of perfect life is aimed at acquiring the supreme happiness of Nirvana, which can make people enjoy a moderate aesthetic life as well. The methods in this article are mainly using the comprehensive interdisciplinary research and literature research.
