Research On The Disyllabic Phrase-verb In The Modern Chinese

The object of this paper is the disyllabic phrase-verb in the Contemporary Chinese Dictionary6 th,we will analyze these words according to the lexical definition.Then summarize the formation of the disyllabic phrase-verb,and from this we get the point of the reason for overflowed development of the Chinese verb,as well as the reason why verb reduplication can not be realized in all verbs in 100%.The text is divided into six parts:The first part is the introduction.We firstly introduce the object of this paper and the general situation of the disyllabic phrase-verb in academia,arrange the related works of the disyllabic phrase-verb.Then introduce the research objective and significance,data source and research approach.In the second part,we firstly introduce the mode of the lexical definition which as the gist to discuss phrase-verb.Then classify the disyllabic phrase-verb and introduce the screening method to these words.The third part is the focus of this paper. By classification and examples,we divide the disyllabic phrase-verb into five types:the disyllabic phrase-verb is defined by verb-object phrase,defined by modifier-head,defined by coordinate phrase,defined by verb-complement phrase,defined by subject-predicate phrase.According to the lexical definition,we summarize the formation of the disyllabic phrase-verb:they are the contraction of verb-phrase,they express complex concept,so the disyllabic phrase-verb is the performance of lexicalization of phrases.The nature of the disyllabic phrase-verb is “phrase”.In the fourth part,we compare the disyllabic phrase-verbs with its English translations,so as to confirm the formation of the disyllabic phrase-verb at a different angle.The fifth part is the difficulty of this paper.At first,we introduce the morphology of Chinese and verb reduplication,then analyzes the reduplication of the disyllabic phrase-verb with examples,which concluded that the disyllabic phrase-verb is“phrase”,the formation of the Chinese is free.So it is the reason for overflowed development of the Chinese verb,as well as the reason why verb reduplication can notbe realized in all verbs in 100%.The sixth part is conclusion.We briefly summarize the research contents of the paper.Then point out the conclusion and the inadequacies which exist in the process of learning and study.
