Mao Zedong is not only a great proletarian revolutionist, politician, thinker and strategist, but also a talented poet. His poetry contains a epoch-making historical significance and infinite artistic charm, and not only absorbs and inherits the essence of Chinese classical poetry, but also has a strong personal style. Therefore influenced and inspired generation after generation of musicians to compose songs with Mao Zedong's poetry. and reached a peak in the 20 th century 60 and 70 s. The songs of Mao Zedong's poetry is the perfect combination of poetry and music, Chinese literature and art of vocal music. Among Mao Zedong's poetry songs, one poem is often seen with different opern. Different composers, according to their own different interpretations, composed the poem into different songs. Even with the same composer, one poems can be composed into different styles. This unique phenomenon gives Mao Zedong Poems and songs a colorful scene,which has played an important role in the popularity of Mao Zedong Poems and songs, and the development of China national vocal music.There are many examples of Mao Zedong Poems composed in different styles, among which, according to most artistic and popular perspective,Flowers- A. Li Shuyi is undoubtedly one of the masterpiece. This paper has proposed an analysis on four different versions of Flowers- A. Li Shuyi, from both the musical structure and musical characteristics.Therefore put forward the style of singing on the different versions, and show different characteristics and style of Flowers- A. Li Shuyi, in order to have a deeper understanding and interpretation of Mao Zedong's poetry.
