SongWan was one of the six great poets in early years of Qing Dynasty. The research for SongWan's poems is important to make clear his life experience, psychology and creation condition, even to understand the poetry ethos and development tendency in 17th century. Especially in the condition of academic circle hadn't researched his poem wholly and deeply, research of SongWan's poem has an essential effect to Qing-poem's study. This thesis includes three parts, firstly discuss SongWan's source of poetry, poem theory and the change in his poem emulation. Then it expounds SongWan's creation and art accomplishment of poetry. The last part summarizes SongWan's status and affect in early years of Qing Dynasty's poem realm. The first part starts from the theory, on the basis of narrating poem theory sects of Late Ming Early Qing, and discusses the background, reason, effect of SongWan's poem origin, then studies his poem theory which formed in his creation. The mainstream of Ming Poem was restoring ancient ways, though there were GongAn and JingLing school against ancient ways, but because of their fault, they couldn't change the tendency of literature. During the change of social situation and literature regular pattern, there was another Restoring Ancient's peak in Late Ming. SongWan's mind inclined to ancient ways in his early years of creation. He claimed to study the Great Seven poets of Ming Dynasty, respecting poetries of Flouring Tang and simulating that period's poet. His poem theory had an intimate relation with the social circumstances, family culture and association with poets. In Ming and Qing Dynasty culture was prevailing in ShanDong area especially in LaiYang. Not only did SongWan polish by his family culture, but also did associate with local other families as a member of aristocratic family, these actions established well for his accomplish. In Late Ming, atmosphere of forming association was very prosperous, FuShe was the most influenceable. FuShe called for ancient ways to finalize study atmosphere. The scholars in LaiYang formed Association of North Mountain and Local Association of LaiYang to respond for FuShe. As a member of association, literature theory of association had polish to SongWan's simulation of Tang. Except from family culture and association actions, SongWan associated with ancient school poets and created as "Seven Poets of YanTai", these all were reasons for his theory, also the symbol of his claim was stable regularly and creation was fledged. In late period especially the stage when SongWan was out of office living in the South areas, change in life and poem currency made SongWan incline to combine Tang and Song. SongWan's poem writing changed from simulation to innovation. During the course of changing, predecessor poet such as QianQianyi had a guide in SongWan's poem creation; association with other poets also improved his writing. SongWan's poem theory had come into being, it concluded three points follows as industrious study to innovation, calling for peaceful poem, poem writes feeling. Innovation and feeling proved SongWan had been away from simulation. Though this two subjects wasn't new, these was important in early years of Qing Dynasty. It had cleaned the source of poem and opened up the way to innovation. Claim for peaceful poem was the currency of early Qing showed in SongWan's creation. The second part discusses SongWan's poem creation. SongWan wrote a great many of literature opera, his poems had many subjects and styles, they were limpid and upright, desolate and grandeur were the main style of his poems. The poet's great accomplishment related with his full of frustrations' life. This part firstly analyzes and evaluates SongWan's becoming an official in Qing Dynasty to research his complex psychology and character feature when faced to the end of Ming.
