Everyone has an instinct of beauty. With the progress of human civilization,human beings have a preliminary understanding of the nature of the instinct of beauty.Rational digging of the instinct of beauty can give full play to the artists' artistic talent. The reason of artists' endless self-discovering and overcoming their own limitations is that they cannot give up the pursuit of beauty and desire to understand the ego. To elucidate this theory, researches on Jung's theories of "collective unconsciousness" and "archetype", combine with related psychologists' research in the field of instinct, it is found that these researches show that there is an important factor that affects artists' creation: the instinct of beauty. The standards of artists pursuing beauty are out of sight, raising to the ideological level and spirit level. The uniqueness of shown artistic forms and contents is beyond the visual experience of common people. Although there is a saying that what comes from reality will come back to reality, the most successful works of art are on the metaphysical level.Inspiration from reality creates the works do not necessarily make people feel the specific things in reality. More are touched by the beauty.Studying the instinct of beauty, combined with artists' characters, this article attempts to make a study on instinct of beauty, improve previous understanding of instinct of beauty. Through conceptions of "collective unconsciousness" "archetype" and so on, the effects of instinct of beauty on artists' creation are discussed. Based on previous researches, the unity between the subjective and objective, theory and practice will be achieved.
