Report Of Mock Consecutive Interpreting Of “Press Conference By President Obama—Antalya,Turky"

November 16 th, 2015, after the G20 summit, president Obama attended press conference in Antalya. He elaborated from antiterrorism, humanitarian assistance,military strategy, diplomacy and religion and answered reporters' questions. The writer takes this audio as raw material, simulates the scene and interprets by consecutive interpretation.There are four chapters in this report :(1) Introduction to the Task,(2) Interpretation Process,(3) Case Analysis,(4)Summary. Chapter one introduces the background and the features. Chapter two includes preparations before interpreting and the general process.Chapter three is case analysis that analyzes the problems of listening comprehension, the mutual influence between listening and note-taking and oral expression. The last chapter gives summary. The writer summarizes the advantages and disadvantages. It maintains that the interpreters should calm down and consider carefully. They should accumulate vocabularies, do a good job in note-taking and constantly improve psychological quality.Only do these can they become excellent interpreters.
