Freud And Marx's Critique Of Religion

It was since the third Plenary Session of the 11 th CPC Central Committee, especially when the Communist Party's Thirteenth National Congress explicitly put forward the "one center, two basic points' ' idea, Chinese economy has developed fast, and people's living standards have been greatly improved, but the heavy emphasis on the economic development has caused an adverse impact on Chinese own beliefs, which made the money worship, hedonism and individualism trend developed. Chinese reform and opening up has not only the introduced of advanced western technologies and attracted great talents into China, but also brought western culture and their ways of life, Westerners faiths can also affect Chinese traditional beliefs. Religious culture which has impacted western countries for thousands of years is inevitable influences China too. As the soul of religious culture, the western religious beliefs have a great influence on Chinese beliefs. In avoid to the pernicious influence of western religions, this article chose Freud and Ma Marx's criticism of religious belief as the topic, which led the Chinese understand what is religion and religious beliefs and guide people to recognize the falsity of Western religious belief through in-depth study of Freud and Marx's criticism.So that we can establish correct religious beliefs, and provide meager faith support to build China into a prosperous, powerful, democratic, civilized and harmonious socialist countryThis paper mainly adopted the method of logic analysis. It reveals the origin of psychology and sociology of religion.In details, it analyses Freud and Marx on religious beliefs and the critical comparison method to prove the falsity of religious beliefs. At the same time, we also used the reality contacting theory method to illustrate the origin and essence of religious beliefs.This thesis is totally divided into five parts. The first part is the introduction, which mainly summarizes the background and significance of this topic, the research status in China and abroad, the research methods and the problems to be explained.The second part mainly analyzes what is the faith of religion, religious apocalypticism and the religious belief of the rational argumentIn the third part, through the analysis of the origin of Freud's religious beliefs, the sociological analysis of the origin of Marx's religious beliefs we can show that the Freud and Marx both reject the sacred origin of the religious belief.In the fourth part, through the Freud's beliefs that "religion provides a vision of the future" and Marx beliefs that "religion is the opium of the people" ideas,we try to illustrate that Freud and Marx both pointed out that the deception of religious beliefs.The fifth part summarizes two important conclusions of the Freud and Marx's religion critique: Freud believes that religious belief is the product that the rational function subject to impairment of cognitive errors while Marx believes that religious belief is a kind of morbid status.
