Wang meng is the existence which can not be ignored in the history of Chinese literature. All kinds of criticism and controversy caused by him is a microcosm of contemporary Chinese culture. This thesis based on time axis mainly analysis the works and creative features of Wang meng in his youth, middle age and seventy years of age.The works of youth Wang meng mainly pay attention to the objective reality, and through the traditional objective narrative way he described the reality of the objective environment. Middle-aged Wang meng came back from Xin jiang and returned to the political center--Beijing. In the new period of reform and opening-up, he created six prose psychological novels, which brought a significant impact on the literary world, and achieved his “golden age”of creation. And then a large number of novel form, content, unique works emerged in endlessly.In his seventy years of age, Wang meng had still been writing, but creative focus to literature reviews,essays, autobiographies, etc., at the same time he studied Chinese classical culture,such as Lao zi, zhuang zi, li shangyin's poetry, and <a dream of red mansions>. At this time, he stressed tolerance and pragmatic, talking about the philosophy of“tolerance”.This thesis is through the analysis of various creation stages of Wang meng,explores that there are two reasons why Wang meng constantly change in his creative methods. One is that Wang meng is in an attempt to avoid fatigue in his creation.The other is that Wang meng listens his own heart to the eternal pursuit of innovation.I am trying to study Wang meng from the perspective of innovation change, hoping that I can make a different innovation and breakthrough On the academic study of Wang meng.
