?Les Mandarins? is the novel which was wrote by Simone de Beauvoir after the end of World War II. It reflects the current group of intellectual more comprehensive at that time. And the area of the characterization and plot arrangement reflect the theory of Beauvoir feminist thought. The novel describes a great many of images of women which express female status in different situations. This paper will combine the analysis of the images of women in the novel with the author's own upbringing, creative intent and feminist thought for analyzing of the Existentialism feminism and the impacting on the author from the soul mate Sartre.This article consists of three parts, from the center of three heroines Boer, Nadine, Anna expand analysis of characters. Boer represents the tragedy of traditional married women. Around Boer this paper mainly expresses married women psychological condition, society relationship between the self and otherness to reveal the depression form the traditional marriage system and male chauvinism; Nadine is a young rebellious girl's representative. In the growing up period, the living and social environment effect give the contradiction to her; Anna is representative of traditional intellectual women, but also a microcosm of Beauvoir own image. Such women have an independent personality and awareness and conscious spirit, so they strive to get rid of the bondage and repression from life and the environment, and pursuit the spirit of liberty. While this the paper analyses the image of mandarins, at the same time it combines Beauvoir's feminist theoretical thoughts in order to analyze text plot and dig deeper thinking from the novel representation so that we can thinking as a woman how to achieve their free and conscious development in different situations.
