Exploring Of Life-Research On Jian Zheng's Prose

The theme of Jian Zheng's prose style is diverse and changeable, but has not deviated from the core theme of "life quest". Under the guidance of "planned writing" principles, Jian Zheng innovated and changed, completed with personal characteristics of prose variations on a theme. At present, the attention of Jian Zheng's prose research is not enough. So, it has certain significance to research Taiwan contemporary literary prose specialist Jian Zheng.First of all, this thesis explored Jian Zheng's "planned writing". By definition, thirteen works are included in Jian Zheng's "planned writing" bibliography group. This thesis found that, regarding "rouge basin" as a watershed, Jian Zheng's creative vision had changed from individual to group. Specifically, the first five works showed the closely linked with author's experience, paied attention to the characteristics of the inner life of individuals. The last eight works showed more and more observation and reflection to social groups.Secondly, this thesis explored the theme of Jian Zheng's prose. The themes of Jian Zheng's prose cover every stage of life. Today, she has basically completed the "birth and death" theme. Among them, local, religion and women are the three most representatives of the "birth" strength. And the newly published "who is waiting for you in the silver sparkling place- old age writing and fading fantasy", reflected Jian Zheng's attitude for aging, disease and death. In this way, after completed presentation of the four life themes, the author's creation in the future is worth further looking forward to.Finally, this thesis explored the new attemption made by Jian Zheng in prose style. This thesis analysed two aspects of "deviant" artistic characteristics of Jian Zheng's prose. The characteristic "poetic" is mainly embodied in the colorful imagery, rhetoric and phonological rhythm. The characteristics of the "novelistic" are embodied in the aspects of the fiction and the plot, and the flexible transformation of the narrative angle of view. Jian Zheng is good at breaking the normal procedure and promoting the prose writing.
