Cao Zhibai Artistic Research Of Landscape Painting

The landscape painting of Cao zhibai is based on the landscape painting style of Li cheng and Guo xi in Song Dynasty,and fusing the style of Dong yuan and Ju ran in the evolving environment of the Yuan Dynasty.Finally,this phenomenon forms his particular style by using words of Yuan Dynasty,painting the landscape of Song Dynasty.He uses simple,empty and shallow words and unique art languae to espress his indigenous artistic conception of painting,gives espression to his natural humanistic feelings and letting things take his own course accordingly.According to compared against the past document literature and work analysis about Cao zhibai,they are simple exposition of style and meaning,what's more,there have no more words to study deeply the real reasons about his painting style and ideology.this article is based on the reading document literature to explain Cao zhibai how to find his own art directon on the contradiction with succession and integration,through ananlyzing his lifetime,formation and development of painting style,artistic characteristics and influence to later generations by using of pictorial antitheses and figure analysis.By doing so,we can not only understand Cao zhibai's uniquely landscape painting as the inheritor of Li cheng and Guo xi faction in Yuan Dynasty, but also can we understand the landscape painting roundly in Yuan Dynasty.
