In this article, the author answered the questions from a theoretical level ‘Why do people who go to the mosque to worship Allah are all scattered Muslims, and why settled Muslims do not go to the mosque to worship Allah?' and discussed the impacts of community forms on the Hui ethnic minority's Muslim Society. Thus, the author discussed the religious decadence topic, which was aroused by the secularization thesis. This research was based on field work implementing in a Beijing Hui minority's region, where is consisted of scattered and inhabited Muslims' communities. The author used Durkheim's perspective, dividing object into the sacred part and the profane part, which means that faith and religious expression are the interior and exterior expression of sacred object. The innovation lies in this research is that the author's divided religious expression into two parts, religious expression in ceremony as well as religious expression in daily life, and explored people's preference in different focus groups. From the study you can see that this two sorts of religious expression influence each other significantly by different community forms. In the first chapter, the author showed the research background, research approach, and gave a detailed literature review. The study of religious trends first appeared in the classic theory of Secularization, then some scholars have questioned this and refuted it. For Classical Secularization Theory had three perspectives, namely: The Religious Market Theory, which holds a complete opponent view towards Secularization. The New Secularization Theory, which redefined The Secularization Theory and explored it. And The Multi-religious Development Theory, which analysed this issue from global, political and cultural perspectives. In the second chapter, this article discussed religious expression based on ritualized Muslims ceremony. Through different manifestations of the liturgy and funeral ceremonies in scattered and inhabited Muslim groups, this chapter gave the answers that Why do people who go to the mosque to worship Allah are all scattered Muslims. The third chapter discussed Muslim religious expression in daily life. From the taboo, decoration, community fairs, co-production of halal food, dinner visits, clothing, language as well as other aspects in life, and pointed out where religious expression is, thereby, analysing different behaviour in these two crowds. This chapter explained why inhabited Muslims do not attend worship ceremonies? The fourth chapter responded the impacts of community forms on the Hui ethnic minority's Muslim Society. Religious expression is the exterior reflection of religious blithe, and religious expression can be divided into ritualized religious expression and religious expression in daily life. The phenomenon that Inhabited Hui Muslims don ot attend worship ceremony is not the performance of religion decline. Instead, they use different religious expression. In another word, urban development is a process that changes from inhabited communities to scattered communities. This means that in cities, religious expression will gradually evolve into ritualized religious expression, and scattered living form plays the role to strengthen this process. The final chapter summarizes the main article content and discussed urban planning related topic. From the perspective of human based social development, urban planning should pay attention to the construction of mosques when planning new urban areas. These buildings can provide social integration field and space for urban scattered Muslim. At the same time, entrepreneurs can invest money to boosts the economy around Mosques, as well as upgrade infrastructures in nearby communities. Entrepreneurs and inhibitors can win-win through these actions as they can get profits and enhance social integrity from them.
