The Normativity Of Belief

When we need to make the evaluations about our beliefs, in our mind, there seems to be two conflicting intuitions, the subjective one and the objective one,which imply the normative dimension of the nature of belief from two aspects.e main part of this dissertation will point out that the evidentialism,the normativist account and the teleological account all fail to fully grasp the normative dimension of the nature of belief. In addition, this dissertation will try to seek illumination from the debate between the internal and external reasons, which can help us to explore a better way to defuse the tension caused by the two intuitions.
