The transformation path can be seen in his essays during the anti-Japanese war.Thirdly, except for those essays which centers on social problems, the thinking and writing of "abstract" is also an important part of Shen Cong-wen's works in Anti-Japanese war work. “abstract lyric 'is a Special way for shen to save the national state. This loss shows the failure of the transformation from "dreaming" to "realistic". After the broke outof the Anti-Japanese war, Shen Cong-wen made a difficult adjustment and exploration in the literary creation and the spiritual level. However, both the self and the history reasons led to the failure of Shen Cong-wen's exploration. It's the failure of the transformation that leads Shen Cong-wen get into the “abstract lyric” and can't find himself after the Anti-Japanese War.
