Puccini as one of the greatest composers in the late twentieth Century and early nineteenth Century, he inherited the traditional music creation techniques, based on the increase of his creative characteristics, the formation of a unique style of writing. The opera that he created occupies a very important position in the world opera stage. The Puccini's "Turandot" and "Madame Butterfly" two opera as an example, analysis of Puccini on the use of Oriental elements in opera creation. Through the opera Oriental melodies and lyrics, Oriental female image shaping, Oriental costumes and scenery and Orientalism and culture of the application, more detailed analysis and research, and discusses the important role of Oriental elements in Puccini's opera creation. This paper is divided into five parts:The introduction part mainly discusses the research background, research purpose, research purpose, research status, research significance and research methods of this paper.The first chapter discusses Puccini's life and his opera creation process. Including Puccini's life; Puccini's early opera writing, medium achievement in opera, style of late adjustment and the theme of the expansion; Puccini's opera creation in realism and exotic. This paper focuses on the creation of Puccini's opera.The second chapter discusses the opera "Turandot", "Madame Butterfly" the creation of. Including the two opera creation background, material and the outline of the story.The third chapter discusses the Oriental elements in "Turandot", "Madame Butterfly" in the application. From Oriental melody, lyrics used in two operas, Oriental female role in two operas shaping, Oriental costumes and stage sets in two operas application and oriental culture and folk custom in the two operas reflected four careful combing, embodied in the opera of exotic were detailed description and presentation.The fourth chapter discusses the artistic value of Oriental elements in "Turandot" and "Madame Butterfly". Based on the contents of the above chapters, this chapter discusses the important position of the two opera in the history of opera.
