On The Image Of Musicians In The Drama Of The Early Qing Dynasty

The creation of literature cannot be separated from the characters. In a variety of characters, there is a special group who are humble and easy to be ignored. But at the same time, they are witnesses and narrators of history. They are "musicians".In this paper, the image of "musicians" in The Palace of Eternal Life and The Peach Blossom Fan is taken as an example to analysis of the meaning and deep cause of the musician Image in the early Qing. Explore the history and changing of "musicians".The introduction part of this article mainly defines the concept of "musicians", and summarizes the present research situation about the image of musicians, as well as the research method used.The first part mainly elaborates the origin and the vicissitude of the musician image in the ancient books and records. Before the Tang Dynasty, The musicians mainly appeared in the history literature. Most of them work in the court, the main function is in the ancestral temple worship or banquet performances, and individual characteristics are often not show. But because of the ancient Chinese political system "music" and "history" of origin, music officials and historians bear the responsibility of a lot of coincidence. Such as "Book of Rites � Music" said in the " The law of music is the same as the law of politics", music is often associated with the rise and fall of the country. To the Tang Dynasty, a large number of literature mention "musicians" which is inseparable with the politics and cultural prosperity of tang dynasty. After the An-shi rebellion, the image of "musicians" has a significant changing. In the middle and late Tang Dynasty, "musicians" are mainly good at the tragedy. Meanwhile by the impact of the war, most of them lived a turbulent life. Song and Yuan Dynasties literature, musicians are also in the turbulent times, music image is gradually given more cultural significance.The second part analyzes the images of the musicians in the drama in the early Qing Dynasty by taking the example of "The Palace of Eternal Life" and "Peach Blossom Fan". As the two peaks of the early Qing drama, these two works portrayed four representative musicians:Lei Haiqing, Li Gui, Su Kunsheng and Liu Jingting.The third part of the "The Palace of Eternal Life" "Peach Blossom Fan" in the music image of the trial to make a comparison. They have a lot of common feelings with the scholars, but also often become a lament, feeling the rise and fall of the object.
