Camille Saint-Saens is a French famous music educator,conductor and composer and pianist and music social activist in the late nineteenth century and early twentieth century.He was a music master in the late Romantic Period.Based on the good components of the Classical Period and the theory creation coming from the classical music he formed his own unique style and philosophy of music.Traces of the Romance can also be found in his music.Therefore,his is a great musician critical in France music history.The thesis can be divided into following five parts.First part is an introduction of the thesis.The second one is on the concord of The Animals Carnival.Then an analysis is made on the music form followed by an analysis on the polyphony.And the fifth part is an analysis on its instrument distribution.The thesis is a study based on The Animals Carnival,an orchestral music created by Camille Saint-Saens in 1886.Analysis will be made on the five parts mentioned above later and thus can provide creative musical ideas,skills and valuable opinions for music learners who study Saint-Saens.
