Talmy(1985,2000)pioneered a systematic study of the structure of motion events from the perspective of typology based on the theory of lexicalization of motion events.According to the lexicalization model of path information,Talmy divides the languages of the world into two categories:one is Verb-framed language category, which consists of languages like Spanish,French and Italian. The other is Satellite-framed language category, including English,German and Russian. In this paper,we will draw lessons from the theory of sports events, from the linguistic point of view, combined with experimental research methods, summed up the difference between Chinese native speakers and different levels of Hungarian Chinese learners when they describe the motion events and figure out their characteristics and causes so that we can give some suggestions on Teaching Chinese as the Second Language. The study consisted of three experiments with native Chinese speakers and Hungarian Chinese learners at the primary and advanced levels. It mainly analyzes and discusses three components:manner, path and reference information. In the first part of each experiment, this paper explores the expression habit of Chinese native speakers and finds that Chinese speakers prefer S-language in the expression of motor events.Afterwards,we will summarize the expression habit of Hungarian Chinese learners compared with the Chinese native speakers in the three experiments by statistical analysis and discussion, the conclusions are as follows. The first experiment finds that the types and frequency of the verb used by the Hungarian Chinese learners at the primary and intermediate level were significantly less than the native speakers. However, with the increase of the Chinese language level, they became closer and closer to the native speakers. There is not much difference between the types of verbs and path verbs, but the frequency of mode verbs is significantly less than path verbs, which is different from native Chinese speakers. In the second experiment,we find that the structure as "Manner + Path " in primary level learners have a big gap with the mother tongue, and the usage of the structure increases slightly with the improvement of Chinese. The difference of the other three structures(manner only, path only, deictic verb)is not obvious. In addition, the comparison of the four different types of verbs shows that Hungarian learners and native Chinese speakers use more "Manner + Path ",while the other three are relatively small. The third experiment shows that the number of clauses with movement and the reference information used by Hungarian learners are much less than Chinese speakers, and have increased with the improvement of Chinese proficiency.Hungarian learners and native Chinese speakers all pay more attention to the end information, while Hungarian Chinese learners rarely mention the relative information.Based on the above conclusions and reasons,we proposes to strengthen the learning of verb, preposition and directional complement and narrating ability in Hungarian Chinese learners.
