Research On The Recovery And Development Of Jingdezhen Ceramics Arts Of The People's Republic Of China (1949-1965)

After the funding of the People's Republic of China,with the government policy of supporting and restoration,the ceramics industry of Jingdezhen was rapidly recovered.Successfully accomplished a series of politic assignments of “the State Banquet Tableware”,“the Exhibition Porcelain”,“the Official Tableware”,“Tribute Porcelain” with help from the government,Jingdezhen took the advantage of situation and advanced the diversified,traditional,handmade,experience based porcelain handcraft industry into centralized,mechanized,scientific,modernized industrial.The design,producing,material,human resources quality,and the technique education also progressed dramatically due to the historical opportunity.The appreciate and support from the central government provided a unique advantage to Jingdezhen,while defined the direction and course for the ceramics arts.Then the ceramics art of Jingdezhen had to adjust itself the following series of transformation the politics atmosphere,such as “the Great Leap”,“Revolution Realism”,“Revolution Romanism” etc.At last,the gradual instrumentalization of the ceramics arts compressed the surviving space of it.And the deterioration reached its maximum during “the Culture Revolution”.
