Chinese symbols as symbols of contemporary Chinese art and an art strategy have played an important role in the process of promoting contemporary Chinese art to the international art arena. The strategic use of Chinese symbols is interpreted in contemporary art fields. The Venice Biennale as a spatial projection in contemporary art fields is the public space under the combined effect of various fields. There are also strict barriers to enter the Venice Biennale. Then the paper discusses how Chinese symbols as a strategy are applied at the Venice Biennale in order to further analyze the reasons for taking Chinese symbols as a strategy. Meanwhile, the debut ways of Chinese symbols at the Venice Biennale are sorted out so that this strategy can be displayed more concretely and clearly. Finally, this paper rationally examines the strategic use of Chinese symbols and presents the new strategic implications in the moment.
