Four Topics On The Research Of Liang Chenvu

Liang Chenyu was a famous playwright in the Ming Dynasty,he promoted the reform of melodies which originated in Kunshan after Wei Liangfu.The research on him always focus on<Huan Sha Ji>.This thesis studies Liang's relationships with others,poetry and drama.The purpose of this paper is to know him better and improve the research.This paper is composed of four topics:firstly,"Research on Liang Chenyu's social relationships" includes the second generation of revisionist,friends with the same interest or similar character,and geishas.Through his wide connection with all communities,we can see his thoughts and personalities;secondly,"Research on Liang Chenyu's activities in the club of poets and his poetry creation".The group of Jiufeng have a significant impact on him,and two obvious characteristics of his poetry are found:immersed in a retro style,pursuing something clear and romantic.Finally,I trace the route of his travel according to his<Lucheng poems>;thirdly,"Research on Liang Chenyu's drama" explore his theory of drama in the preface of his Sanqu and his comment on Li's<The Romance of the Western Chamber>.Then,I reveal the characteristics of his Sanqu creation which is connected with his theory of drama.After that,I review the historical status of<Huan Sha Ji>.The fourth topic is "Correction of<Chronicle of Liang Chenyu>" which is based on Mr.Xu's edition.
