The Study Of Liang Chenyu’s Xianglian Sanqu

Liang Chenyu started a new era of Southern opera creation and popularity since Jiajing with the Kunqiang new tone reformed by Wei Liangfu.He became one of the famous Sanqu writers in the middle and late Ming Dynasty.In his existing collection of Sanqu,"Jiangdong Baizhu " and "Continuance of Jiangdong Baizhu",the Xianglian Sanqu occupies nearly two thirds of the content.This is not only a very important part of Liang Chenyu’s entire creation of Sanqu,but also in the late Ming Dynasty when the incense wind was burning,which had an important influence on the creation and development of the theme of Xianglian Sanqu in the late Ming Dynasty.This paper takes Liang Chen Yu Xianglian Sanqu as the main research object.First of all,based on historical records,gazetteers,anthologies,songs and other literature materials,through the method of combination of literature and history,it explores the creation background of Liang Chen Yu Xianglian Sanqu from the social environment at that time,the development and accumulation of the Ming Dynasty Xianglian Sanqu and Liang Chen Yu’s personal experience.Then,using the method of reading the text carefully,the main content and emotional connotation of the Liang Chen Yu Xianglian Sanqu are studied.It is believed that the Liang Chen Yu Xianglian Sanqu can be divided into six categories: The Sanqu for the geisha,The Sanqu for the objects,The Sanqu for mourning,The Sanqu for the imperial concubine,,The Sanqu for the boudoirs resentment,and The Sanqu of erotic.The emotional connotation is relatively rich,with the ambivalence of wandering between being an offical and being a hermit,with the boudoir feelings to express the sad feeling of frustration,the sympathy for the fate of geisha and the eulogize of the true feelings of men and women.At the same time,through the comparison with other important writer of the Ming Dynasty,this paper probes into the unique artistic charm of the Xianglian Sanqu from four angles,such as the style characteristics,content characteristics,artistic style and female images.Finally,through discussing the inheritance and innovation of Liang Chen Yu Xianglian Sanqu and its influence on the later generations,the important position of Liang Chen Yu in the history of the development of the Xianglian Sanqu in the Ming Dynasty is clarified.
