Mrs. Zhao and Huai Bang tells the story of folk artist Zhao Yuqing who is the fifth-generation of folk opera Huai Bang originating from Jiao Zuo city, Henan province. This documentary unfolds around two lines. The one is the memory of Mrs. Zhao about the prosperity and boom of Huai Bang in the past. The other develops around the life and teaching of Mrs. Zhao to emphasize the difficulty in inheriting Huai Bang.Combined with the analysis of the creation of Mrs. Zhao and Huai Bang, this thesis expounds from three aspects including the background and value of topic (what does the documentary talk about), the lens language (how to talk about), the innovation and deficiency of shooting.
