Review Of The Lucian Freud's Painting Art Studies In China

This paper takes domestic researches on Lucian Freud's painting art as the object of study.It discusses and evaluates this object from the following three aspects by analysis and induction: the study of Freud's painting language by domestic scholars,a comparative study of Freud and other painters,Freud's influence on Chinese oil painting.Then,it can judge the pros and cons of this kind of study in China to find the existing problems and investigate the factors that affect the research results.The paper is divided into four chapters.The first chapter is an introduction to the process of domestic researches on Freud's painting art;the second chapter is the key chapter where the author analyzes domestic scholars' researches on Freud's painting art from two aspects,forms and significance.In the third chapter,the author discusses the results of domestic scholars in the comparative study between Freud and other artists.The fourth chapter is about the investigate of the researches on the influence of Freud's art in Chinese oil painting by domestic scholars.Through the elaboration of the four chapters,this paper expounds the gains and losses of Freud's art researches in China.
