In recent years,our English teaching has made great achievements.However,the teaching model which takes exam education as the center has many serious disadvantages.It impressed student on grammar knowledge and the testing skill.Especially,the traditional model ignored the ability of language using has been more and more obvious.In 2000,when the words "Chinese cultural aphasia" was put forward,English teaching reform has been taken as an important problem.It makes more educators realize that culture and language are inseparable.Therefore,the urgent problem is that we must improve English learners' output ability of native culture.This paper is based on the ecological philosophy,educational ecology and ecological linguistics.It studies on some problems in traditional English teaching by analyzing the phenomenon of Chinese culture aphasia.We try to rebuild a new model which can fit the educational ecology and serve the native culture's output.It can be related to diversity about people and environment,people and language,language and culture.We need to consider both.That is the students' differences and the environment influence on students.We try to build a new English teaching model—ecological teaching model.Four ecological elements of student,teacher,language and learning environment are included in balance.We introduce discovery theory into this model and focus on the relationship between students and environment.Lastly,the ecological teaching model can promote the efficiency of input of native culture and elevate the ability of output.
