In recent years,with the impact of the entertainment wave and the globalization of the film industry,disaster films have frequently appeared on film screens.But it is hard to ignore the fact that China's disaster films are struggling in the cracks between political and commercial,and it have a relatively slow development.Since 1957 the director Shi hui have directed Sailing On A Foggy Night,in 2002 the director zhang jianya shooted the film Red Snow,from 2008 the director feng xiaoning filmed Super Typhoon,to 2010 the director feng xiaogang forged the movie Aftershock,the Chinese disaster film have took a long and winding road.On the issue of the relationship between human and nature,the Chinese disaster film inherits the traditional thought of the unity of nature and man,and is willing to teach the audience learn lessons,respect the equality and harmony between man and nature.In contrast,Western disaster films are better at reflecting the traditional culture that Western society have consistently fought against nature.In the relationship of home and country,individual and collective,traditional Confucian advocates how to restrain ourselves to commit deeds and change filial obedience into allegiance.Chinese disaster film especially like the film The Perfect Storm that take relief officers and men as the main object To make public how to shed home for everyone,and the spirit of personalsacrifice for collective.In person relationship,the traditional Confucian doctrine of loyalty and forgiveness of self love to practice his thoughts,today,although we tolerate life instinct of self-help in real life,but in the public opinion and film art,we are used to from a moral level to preach up figure and image who are self-sacrifice and full of dedication spirit.This kind of love and mutual help thoughts is ultimately the emotion of Family-country and cultural identity form the developed of local consciousness.Chinese disaster films are often deliberately rendering such feelings and cultures.Compared to general life experience,people are extremely lack of disaster experience.The Chinese disaster movies intentionally or unintentionally provide indirect disaster experience,and cultivate the audience's sense of crisis.The provision and cultivation of these disaster experiences and hardship consciousness also enables us to see the Chinese disaster movies not only eulogize the traditional spirit of sacrifice,but also advocate the value of life and the meaning of survival.In the Chinese disaster movie,characters become the main carrier of the director's ideological and narrative plots.In general,the protagonist of the film has the function of rescuing,educating and propagating.Chinese disaster film is used by the linear narrative structure,which is based on cause and effect connection,composed of disaster happen,disaster response,disaster relief action,disaster relief success and so on.Most of the Chinese disaster movies adopt omniscient viewpoint,which has abroad range of perspectives,and they can satisfy the audience's desire to know everything.In order to highlight contradictions,create a tense atmosphere,to reveal the value of life,China disaster films often suppressed time,narrow space,let the disaster and rescue in a short time and narrow space.The notion of Chinese people such as "go with the flow",“submit to the will of Heaven” is entrenched,it is also lack of deep creativity and tragedy spirit,which make China disaster film busy to review what known disaster,but cannot to "make" or "predict" the plight of unknown.The existing Chinese disaster film,accounted for the vast majority of the "main melody" films,except a few directors,the creation of Chinese disaster films is mostly "national behavior".As a genre,the Chinese disaster film to attract audiences not intriguing plot transformation,nor the well-made editing,but moved and shocked from the bottom of my heart.When the introduction of Hollywood blockbusters intensifies the competition of China's film market,in order to improve Chinese film development situation,in addition to improving the technical conditions,increasing investment,we also should shape our own unique cultural soul.Disaster film with the help of special effects to focus on the human feelings and nature relations,it is favorable to think the problem abouthow to blend Chinese traditional culture and modern western civilization,and also can promote the Chinese movie's narrative ability.
